Konstruktionshilfe - ein Bereich des Grafikbildschirms, der mit regelmäßig angeordneten Punkten bedeckt ist: Orientierungshilfe. Der Abstand zwischen den Rasterpunkten kann individuell eingestellt werden. Rasterpunkte werden nicht gedruckt oder geplottet.
In der Drucktechnik ein opt. Gerät zur Zerlegung von Halbtonvorlagen (z.B. Photos) in einzelne Punkte. Die durch R. im Film u. später im Druck erzeugten Punkte heißen ebenfalls Raster.
