(1895-1979) Russian choreographer and dancer with the Ballets Russes. He was a creator of comedy in ballet and also symphonic ballet using concert music. His works include the first Cubist-inspired ballet, Parade 1917, La Boutique fantasque 1919, and The Three-Cornered Hat 1919.
