In musical notation, abbreviation for “right hand”, directing a pianist to use the right hand. This is usually in order to facilitate a technically difficult passage, dividing the notes between both hands. It can also be notated in French or Italian as M.D. (main droite or mano destra, respectively). The opposite is L.H. (“left hand”).
