Majority ethnic group living in Botswana. The Tswana are divided into four subgroups: the Bakwena, the Bamangwato, the Bangwaketse, and the Batawana. Traditionally they are rural-dwelling farmers, though many now leave their homes to work as migrant laborers in South African industries. The Tswana language belongs to the Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo family.
