Delegieren
Abordnen; Zuständigkeiten auf einen Untergebenen übertragen.

1. Abordnung von beauftragten Personen als Vertretung bei offiziellen Anlässen oder Verhandlungen
2. Übertragung von Befugnissen von einer Person oder einem Staatsorgan auf andere (z.B. Ermittlungen durch Polizei im Auftrag der Staatsanwaltschaft).

Passing responsibility for carrying out a task down the chain of command. For example, a managing director may delegate control of finances to the company secretary. A foreman may delegate responsibility for supervising a group of machines to a worker.
1. The act of delegating, or investing with authority to act for another; the appointment of a delegate or delegates.
2. One or more persons appointed or chosen, and commissioned to represent others, as in a convention, in Congress, etc.; the collective body of delegates; a deputation.
