US film actress and singing star of the 1950s and early 1960s.
She appeared in musicals and, often with Rock Hudson, coy sex comedies. Her films include Tea for Two 1950, Calamity Jane 1953, Love Me or Leave Me 1955, and Alfred Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much 1956. With Pillow Talk 1959, Lover Come Back 1962, and other 1960s light sex comedies, she played a self-confident but coy woman who caused some of the biggest male stars to capitulate. + prikaži više
