Marine invertebrates with tube feet and calcite-covered five-part radially symmetrical bodies.
Spiny-skinned marine animal, as sea urchin, starfish, etc.
Marine invertebrate of the phylum Echinodermata (“spiny-skinned”), characterized by a five-radial symmetry. Echinoderms have a water-vascular system which transports substances around the body. They include starfishes (or sea stars), brittle-stars, sea-lilies, sea-urchins, and sea-cucumbers. The skeleton is external, made of a series of limy plates, and echinoderms generally move by using tube-feet, small water-filled sacs that can be protruded or pulled back to the body.
