A fixed number of lines of verse forming a unit of a poem.
Group of lines in a poem. A stanza serves the same function in poetry as a paragraph in prose. Stanzas are often of uniform length and separated by a blank line.
Each stanza has a set, repeatable pattern of meter and rhyme.
