(1950-) British architect, born in Baghdad. An exponent of Deconstructionism, she has been influential through her drawings rather than buildings. Her unbuilt competition-winning entry for Hong Kong's Peak Club 1983 established her reputation, and in 1993 she completed her first major building, a fire station for the Vitra Furniture Factory at Weil-am-Rhein, Germany.
