muški rodlično ime
IPA: / ˈdiː ˈkɑːrloʊ /
Značenje:

(1919-) Italian architect. His series of buildings in the Renaissance hill town of Urbino (begun 1952) are notable in their sensitivity toward context and urban continuity. The Faculty of Education, Urbino, 1968–76, respects the fabric of the town while opening out toward the Umbrian countryside with a glazed cascade of lecture theaters.
De Carlo worked under the patronship of Carlo Bo, rector of Urbino University, and in 1959 helped to found Team 10, following the collapse of CIAM. His other works include the student residences, Urbino, 1962–66 and 1973–83, and the Mazzorbo housing scheme, Venice, 1979–85.
