Italian fashion designer. He launched his first menswear collection 1974 and the following year started designing women’s clothing. His work is known for understated styles, and fine fabrics. He pioneered the “unstructured jacket” and his designs are marketed under different labels, from exclusive models to the less expensive diffusion range.
