Allergy; extreme sensitivity caused by previous inoculation.
In medicine, a severe allergic response. Typically, the air passages become constricted, the blood pressure falls rapidly, and the victim collapses. A rare condition, anaphylaxis most often occurs following wasp or bee stings, or treatment with some drugs.
