In biology, process by which a living organism produces other organisms similar to itself. There are two kinds: asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction. The ability to reproduce is considered one of the fundamental attributes of living things.
1. The act of reproducing; SYN. replication.
2. The activity of conceiving and bearing offspring; SYN. procreation, breeding.
3. The process of generating offspring.
