jargon
Specialized technical terminology characteristic of a particular subject.
Language that is technical, highly specialized, and understood mainly by those expert in a particular field.
Jargon is often also known as gobbledygook/gobbledegook and is subcategorized as, for example, bureaucratese and officialese (the usage of bureaucrats and officials), journalese (the languages of newspapers), and medicalese (the often impenetrable usage of doctors), and so on. In writing, jargon may be highly formal, whereas in speech it often contains slang expressions.
