1. Acronym for Information and Content Exchange. A protocol based on XML (Extensible Markup Language) designed to automate the distribution of syndicated content over the World Wide Web. Based on the concept of content syndicators (distributors) and subscribers (receivers), ICE defines the responsibilities of the parties involved, as well as the format and means of exchanging content so that data can easily be transferred and reused. The protocol has been submitted to the World Wide Web Consortium by Adobe Systems, Inc., CNET, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, and Vignette Corporation. It is intended to help in both publishing and inter-business exchanges of content.
2. Acronym for in circuit emulator. A chip used as a stand-in for a microprocessor or a microcontroller. An in-circuit emulator is used to test and debug logic circuits.
3. Acronym for Intrusion Countermeasure Electronics. A fictional type of security software, popularized by science fiction novelist William Gibson, that responds to intruders by attempting to kill them. The origin of the term is attributed to a USENET subscriber, Tom Maddox.

Solid formed by water when it freezes. It is colorless and its crystals are hexagonal. The water molecules are held together by hydrogen bonds.
The freezing point of ice, used as a standard for measuring temperature, is 0ş for the Celsius and Réaumur scales and 32ş for the Fahrenheit. Ice expands in the act of freezing (hence burst pipes), becoming less dense than water (0.9175 at 5şC/41şF).

Form of methamphetamine that is smoked for its stimulating effect; its use has been illegal in the US since 1989. Its use may be followed by a period of depression and psychosis.
Methamphetamine in the form of crystals of its hydrochloride salt C10H15NyHCI when used illicitly for smoking — called also crystal, crystal meth.
