(1957-) English golfer who was the first Briton in 54 years to win three British Open titles, and the only person after Jack Nicklaus to win two successive US Masters titles (1989 and 1990). He is one of only six golfers to win the Masters and British Open in the same year.
Since turning professional in 1976 he has won more than 25 tournaments worldwide.
