CMYK
Acronym for cyan-magenta-yellow-black. A color model that is similar to the CMY color model but produces black with a separate black component rather than by adding 100 percent of cyan, magenta, and yellow. See also CMY.
(abbreviation for cyanmagenta yellowblack) Four-color separation used in most (subtractive) color printing processes. Representation on computer screens normally uses the additive RGB method and so conversion is usually necessary on output for printing either on color printers or as separations.
